The Big BBQ Lesson at Zestiny Farm (Central Coast hinterland) today had a few things going for it. Four hundred people (359 per Guinness World Record) cooking on 20 off grid electric BBQs on 50 acres of certified organic farmland, all working the same recipe at the same time, all for a great cause (raising money for OzHarvest).

The farm has been running for over 50 years. The produce in today’s cook came from the fields on site. The cooking lesson structure is simple and useful: everyone cooks the veggie burger (beetroot, carrot, zucchini, black beans, charred on the grill) simultaneously, in the June low afternoon light on the Central Coast.
