Fujifilm Creator Summit at Sydney Luna Park
About a thousand “creators” decended upon Sydney Luna Park this weekend for the Fujifilm Creator Summit.
Fujifilm targetting content creators is a smart move. It’s a different audience than (amateur) photographers. There’s probably still some market for advanced vlogging cameras, although those would be the lower end of the market. You can’t sell a GFX100 to a vlogger.
Atomos, Rode, and a few other vendors were there. Heard one of the vendors say, (paraphrased) “if you have more gear, you look more professional, and you can charge more”.
Fujifilm also cleaned your (Fuji) lenses and (Fuji) camera sensors for free, something they do for registered FPS members.
Australian Creative Collective organized a photowalk with 4 models to shoot around Lavender Bay.
Anyway, was a fun day out, and I got to meet some interesting people.
